Agenda item #1
Creating Affordable Housing Opportunities
This means more inclusionary housing for Jersey City residents as well as affordable home ownership programs and assistants for our hard-working families. My plan is to work with colleagues to create meaningful legislation to ensure a fair share of affordable housing is set aside for Jersey City residents and to also identify city-owned properties that can be developed or rehabbed to bring affordable homeownership to our residents.

Agenda item # 3
Public Safety Initiatives
Public Safety is extremely important. Not only is the goal to build better relationships with police and residents, I will also work with city departments and contractors to ensure better lighting, pedestrian safety, and other quality of the issues that impedes our daily public safety.
Agenda item #4
Budget Reform
It is important for a city like Jersey City to review and pass a fiscally responsible budget in the beginning of the year. My plan is to work with the city’s administration; including business administrator and city council members to have an approved annual budget Jan 1 rather than six months into the year.
Agenda item #5
Tax Reform
Over the next few years, we can anticipate tax increases. As your councilman, I will work with the JBOE, Hudson County and our city’s administration to find create ways to stabilize our taxes while fulfilling the needs of you the tax payers.
